Ritual
Ritual is misunderstood. I am restoring this beautiful practice and helping others discover the power of ritual marking their journey.
“Ritual is called for because our soul communicates things to us that the body translates as need, or want, or absence. So we enter into ritual in order to respond to the call of the soul.”
– Malidoma Somé
Why Ritual?
Rituals are how living beings find meaning: like two kids sharing a secret handshake, attending a funeral, stacking stones along a trail to mark their way, or birds doing their funky dances and calls to attract a mate.
Deep down, we all yearn for havens where we feel embraced, honored, and truly understood. In our modern world, there's a collective yearning to rediscover and revisit these sanctuaries, where we can commemorate moments of change or grief, and where there's someone there to truly see and acknowledge our journey.
Ritual provides the sacred ground where we acknowledge the yearning deep within our souls and invite what holds significance for us. It's akin to a river guiding us towards the concealed truths or suppressed emotions that are yearning to be expressed and allowed to flow freely once more.
Let’s be real, Rituals will not save you! They can however be a safe space for you to shed, break, emerge, discover, welcome home and celebrate that wild life you are meant to live!
The tough outer shell we develop in response to pain, loss, and betrayal can lead us to lose sight of our true selves and the potential of life. We're meant to live with passion in our hearts and a willingness to embrace life with open hands. Finally resting and allowing ourselves to soften and reconnect with our bodies and senses.
Ritual is an invitation to depth and beauty, holding both death and resurrection. Can we have imagination enough for the people we are called to be?
Will you risk showing up for you?
The Ritual Experience

Follow-up session (30 minute) Summarizing the themes we discovered, any questions you or I may have, and we address the nuts and bolts of the ritual: what time, where, and people// supplies that will be needed.
Final Details E-mail: Includes instructions on preparation and a recap of the ritual and all of the final experience details.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rituals.
-
We meet a total of 3 times. Once to get to know you and your story. The second time, we begin to understand the themes and their importance to your story. Afterwards, I work to create a ritual experience that is personal to you and will be impactful to your journey in who you are and who you are becoming. The final time we meet is when we will hold the ritual. Part of what I offer is photographing the experience so there is a tangible representation of the sacred held space you got to experience.

Photography is an important aspect of my ritual offering. As it is core to what I believe makes for a lasting experience, I do not offer an additional price point at this time.
